Public Hearing
The project team hosted a public hearing regarding the Northeast Gateway: Welaunee Boulevard PD&E Study on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Roberts Elementary School, Cafeteria and virtually via Zoom. Comments postmarked no later than Monday, June 7, 2021 will become a part of the public record for this public hearing.

Draft project documents will be available for public review from Tuesday, May 11th, until Monday, June 7th at the following locations:

Project Update: The Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency (IA) Board, at their January 30th meeting, completed the substantial amendment process to include an extension of Welaunee Boulevard north over I-10 to Roberts Road, as well as an extension of Shamrock Street South to intersect with the Welaunee Boulevard Extension east of Centerville Road. Please stay engaged and continue to visit the project website for updates and future public engagement opportunities.

The Blueprint Intergovernmental Agency (Blueprint), in coordination with the City of Tallahassee and Leon County is conducting a Project Development and Environment (PD&E) study for Phase 1 of the Northeast Gateway: Welaunee Boulevard project. This is the next phase in the development of a new Northeast Gateway building on the numerous planning and engineering efforts that have preceded this study in the Welaunee area.
